Designing for a New Wave of Brewing
BACKGROUND
As demand for non-alcoholic options grows in breweries, Third Space Brewing seized the opportunity to expand their lineup with a hop-forward seltzer. Striking a balance between innovation and brand integrity, they created a high-quality, non-alcoholic beverage that upheld the craftsmanship and flavors their customers expect, all while embracing the evolving trend.

Design Approach
The design approach for Hop Water focused on creating a distinct look that set it apart from Third Space Brewing's alcoholic lineup, while still maintaining key elements of their parent brand for easy recognition. To achieve this, the packaging incorporated familiar fonts and colors, but swapped out the signature triangle motif for an organic wave pattern, evoking the refreshing nature of the product. Additionally, a flexible design system was established, ensuring the packaging could be easily adapted for future flavor releases, allowing for consistency across the brand's non-alcoholic offerings.
